Business mission of Russian companies to Singapore will be held from 16 to 20 of June.

The Russia-Singapore Business Council, established on the initiative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and State Corporation Rostec, organize a business mission of Russian innovative companies and development institutions to Singapore, timed to coincide with an international exhibition CommunicAsia 2019 (18-20.06.2019) and negotiations with organizations and agencies in Singapore in the sphere of digital production and end-to-end technologies.

CommunicAsia 2019 is an international exhibition and conference of international technologies, the largest annual and representative event in the field of telecommunications and information technologies in the Asia-Pacific region, which has being held annually since 1979.  CommunicAsia gathers about 56000 visitors-specialists and the biggest part of its audience are foreigners. Operators and system integrators, manufacturers and suppliers of telecommunication equipment present their innovations and time-tested devices, among which IP-solutions play significant role. Every year exhibition brings together representatives of telecommunications community and large corporations all over the world.

Within the business mission it is planned to visit the mentioned above exhibition, to arrange a business meeting with leading companies and organizations of Singapore and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region, Singapore government bodies and business associations. Besides the business program there will be organized a cultural program within the Russian film week in Singapore supported by State Corporation Rostec.  Joint activities with Enterprise Singapore (Enterprise Development Agency), SMF (Singapore Manufacturing Federation), Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), GovTech Agency (which is responsible for Singapore digital development) and other development institutions are planned to conduct at these dates.

The program also includes activities together with the management of Singapore Manufacturing Federation on the issue of cooperation of manufacturing companies from Russia and Singapore, as well as experience exchange in the procurement of corporations (supported by State Corporation Rostec).

RSTrade and CamelOne integration solution was presented at the II Eurasian digital forum

The II Eurasian digital forum, organized by the Eurasian Economic Commission, was held on site of one of the largest CIS exhibitions devoted to information and communication technologies-“Tibo 2019”, which is held  from 8 to 12 April in the capital of Belarus — Minsk. Besides EAEU countries, heads of state authorities, businessmen and experts from South Korea, Germany, China, Latvia and Azerbaijan engaged in the work.

The plenary session “Prospects of creating a single digital market: drivers and barriers” opened the Forum. Karine Minasyan, Member of the Board, Minister in charge of internal markets,  information and communication technologies of EEC delivered a welcoming speech and noted the following: “We face with a concrete reality in our economies, that is why the presidents of our countries have put into the digital agenda: it is necessary to create our own Eurasian ecosystems to ensure the competitiveness of our countries in long term. We are moving towards ecosystems through the implementation of joint projects, when it is necessary to implement projects under the condition of preserving national sovereignty and to work through digital sandboxes, not first to form legislation, but to work out new technologies and business models, and only then on their basis to form fundamental legislation”.

Within the thematic session devoted to the formation of ecosystems of digital transport corridors, the development of digital model of employment and employment of citizens of EAEU states, as well as the development of  Eurasian industrial cooperation, subcontracting and technology transfer, Director of strategy and development of the Russia-Singapore Business Council Andrey Bykov presented an integrated solution of electronic B2B platforms RSTrade (operator – LLC Rstradehouse, Russia) and CamelOne (operator vCargo Cloud, Singapore) which integrate trade and payment services of foreign economic activity (logistics, insurance, customs support, etc.). The audience was particularly interested in contract manufacturing services and the possibility of its use in the framework of projects of the Eurasian digital corridors and the Technology transfer network, industrial cooperation and subcontracting by companies from all countries of the EAEU. The representatives of  EEC pointed out that the draft integrated solution between RSTrade and CamelOne is an indicator of the possibility of successful cooperation within the consortium of companies and organizations of supranational, state and business structures established under the auspices of  EEC. Moreover, it provides an opportunity to develop cooperation not only within the EAEU, but with external market in different directions.

Within the exhibition and Forum, there was also held a series of negotiations with potential cooperation partners, there were reached preliminary agreements on various options of cooperation between RSTrade and companies from Russia, Belarus and Azerbaijan.

Russia and ASEAN to Continue Interaction at the International Business Events

On 1–2 April, the 16th Russia–ASEAN Joint Planning and Managing Committee meeting and the 17th Russia–ASEAN Joint Cooperation Committee meeting took place in Jakarta, Indonesia. The events were attended by Alexander Ivanov, Ambassador of Russia to ASEAN.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the results and prospects for cooperation between Russia and ASEAN. New paths for interaction were identified in trade, economic, financial and humanitarian areas.

At the meeting, the Roscongress Foundation presented the initiatives with ASEAN that were implemented in 2018 during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Eastern Economic Forum. Among them were the EAEU–ASEAN business lunch and the Russia–ASEAN business dialogue, which proved to be important discussion platforms for exchanging opinions on the integration processes in Eurasia. In addition, ASEAN official and business circles received an invitation to participate in SPIEF, which will be held on 6–8 June 2019, and EEF, which will be held on 4–6 September 2019 in Vladivostok. Special attention was paid to the discussion of Russia’s proposal for the Russia–ASEAN Economic Forum to be held in November 2019.

The participants of the meeting stressed that further cooperation at the key business events in Russia will contribute to the development of full-fledged cooperation and the strengthening of partnership between Russia and ASEAN.
